Itinerary

Arrive Dhaka airport. Meet & greet with our guide and transfer to your hotel to check in and refresh. Depending on the flight schedule, and if time permits, drive for one hour to Jamdani weaving village and meet the weavers. We also visit Sonargaon, the capital of Bengal dated from the 13th century. Return to your hotel later for the first overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Tangail. Upon arrival check in UBINIG guest house. Then take a bicycle ride (optional) or walk through the rural village where the weavers make the famous Tangail Saree. Noting the wonderful atmosphere and meeting the friendly local people, you will observe their daily lifestyle as well. We also visit an organic farm, see how they train local farmers and learn about the seed bank and the rice bank. In the evening participate in a folk music event arranged by the local farmers.
Return to your guest house and, going through in your mind the things you have seen today, relax. Later on we return to your resort.
After breakfast visit the 15th century Atia mosque and then visit the nearby pottery village. Later, return to the guest-house and after lunch drive to Dhaka. Depending on flight schedule, transfer to the airport to catch a flight for your next destination.
