About Me
My name is Syed Riazul Huq, but everyone knows me as Riaz. I am a former professional tour specialist with one of the most renowned tour operators in Bangladesh and carry more than a decade of hands-on experience in guiding international travelers across the country. Since 2006, I have explored the *Sundarbans—the world’s largest mangrove forest—*while working with scientists, wildlife researchers, international media crews, photographers and curious adventurers from around the world seeking authentic eco adventures and guided tours in Bangladesh
I have coordinated documentary filming for networks from Japan to Canada, assisted research teams from the USA and Germany, and led professional photographic trips throughout the country. Beyond the Sundarbans, I specialize in archaeological tours, indigenous culture, and immersive community experiences in North Bengal and the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Recently, I launched my own inbound tour platform called Destination-Bangladesh, built on the slogan: “We create memories for a lifetime.” Through this platform, I organize Bangladesh tours, cultural trips, eco-tourism programs, and adventure travel experiences for global explorers. I also recently explored the Brahmaputra River with a group of forest tourists, supported an antique car destination rally, and coordinated visits for foreign cruisers sailing into Bangladesh.
With a background in Chemistry and professional tour guide training, I blend research skills with deep local knowledge to offer safe, authentic, and meaningful travel experiences. My mission is to promote Bangladesh as an inspiring, welcoming and unforgettable destination for travelers worldwide.
