What To Expect
This trip is designed to show Old Dhaka’s Lifestyle and a few archeological sites from 11th –15th century first. Then we go sightseeing around the Srimangal area. Bangladesh produces the finest quality tea (about 30 million kg of tea comes from here annually) Most of the Tea Gardens are situated in Srimangal, which consists of about 150 individual Tea Estates as well as plantations of lemons, oranges, and pineapples. Srimangal is also the home of three different indigenous communities, the Monipuri, Tripura and Khasia, whom you will visit. We then go on to the Lawacharra Rain Forest to see birds and wildlife. It is evident that this journey of four days will keep you very busy and ‘on the go’.

Itinerary

Arrive Dhaka International Airport and meet up with our guide for and transfer to your hotel. After refreshment, go city sightseeing in Dhaka, including the Parliament Building, Dhaka University campus and Dakeswari Temple. Later, we drive back to your hotel.
After breakfast, drive to old Dhaka for sightseeing. Walk through the narrow alleys of Hindu Street,and see the Pink Palace. Later we join a passenger boat and start on the cruise to Chandpur South east of Dhaka. The cruise will take around five hours in which to enjoy the riverside beauty of Bangladesh.
Upon arrival at Chandpur, drive towards Comilla where you check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Start your day of sightseeing at the Buddhist Monastery ruins that date from 7th century. Also visit some other Buddhist ruins nearby. Later drive towards Dhaka and en route visit the World War II Memorial. After paying our respects there, continue driving to Sonargaon (the old capital of Bengal till end of 15th century). Following that visit, continue towards Dhaka and on arrival check in to your hotel.
After breakfast, according to your flight schedule, transfer to the airport to catch the flight for next destination.
